Overall, today was a BAD day! I mean, it was a great day, but food-wise, it was terrible! I started off the day with scrapbooking. I forgot to eat breakfast before I left, so I grabbed a hard-boiled egg on the way out the door. Then when I got to scrapbooking, after dropping Aiden off at Grandpa's, I realized just how starving I was! I knew I wouldn't be able to eat til about 1:30pm (this was 9am) so I had 10 yogurt covered pretzels... bad idea! Then, I did great for lunch, simply because I knew dinner would be a disaster! Well, it turned out to be a bigger disaster than I thought! Jeff and I were having his sister and her boyfriend over for some Lee's Famous Recipe (the fact that they came over was NOT the disaster part! That was the exceptional part! Love them!!) But when we got home with our Lee's take-out, they gave us 1/2 Original and 1/2 Crispy.... I ordered 1/2 original and 1/2 roaster!!! The calorie and fat difference between the 2 are phenomenal... and NOT in a good way! So, I had a breast and a thigh. I totally wasted away the calories in about 1 piece of chicken! But, it was yummy, and I guess 1 splurge day isn't going to kill me!
I was hoping to get to exercise tonight too... but that didn't happen.
My goal for this week was to get a treadmill so I can work out every morning while Jeff is in the shower and Aiden is still sleeping... I am still on my quest for a nice, electric treadmill at a reasonable cost! I have my eye on one on Criagslist right now... just waiting to hear if they will come down to my price range :-) Gotta love bartering! (actually, I'm really terrible at it. But I REALLY want a nice treadmill, but I set my price and I will not go over!)
