Today was a good day! I was busy at work, so I didn't really have time to think about food, which always helps keep me from eating out of boredom. Dinner was not good. I mean, it tasted delightful, but I didn't eat until 8:40pm and I already feel bloated.... ick!
On a very positive note... I GOT A TREADMILL TODAY! And it turned out to be even better than I expected. So, here is the story...
I posted something on Craiglist saying I was looking for an electric, folding treadmill in good condition for $100 or less. So, I almost immediately get this email from a guy and he says, "$150 and it's yours!" I said, "I really can't go over $100. Sorry." So, he says, "Well, I really need the space, so I will sacrifice it for $100". So, he sends me the info on it and he says it's 8-10 years old, electric, folds for storage, has an incline, 6 programs, speed, calories, burned, and heart rate monitor. I thought, WOW! All that for $100?! GREAT! So, I tell him I can be there Thursday at 6:30 to look at it. If it's what I want, I'll take it. He says okay, but if someone comes for it in the meantime, it's theirs. Well, yesterday I got a call from him asking if I was still coming Thursday. I say yes, if it's still available. He says it is. So we go to see it, and it is most definitely NOT the treadmill he sent me a picture of! I start looking around, thinking maybe there's 2. Nope, this is the one.... and it is SO much nicer than the one he sent me a picture of!!! It is at the MOST 3 years old. All totally digital, programmable, electric, fold-up... all the bells and whistles, so to speak! I said, "This is it?" and he says, "yes" and proceeds to show us all the features. I tested it out and practically threw him the $100! I was so ecstatic!!!
So now, what am I going to do with a treadmill? I plan to use it every morning when Jeff gets up to get in the shower and Aiden is still asleep. That would give me from 6-6:30am every morning to do my c25k stuff. Then I can continue my workouts every other night in the evening with Lacey doing our Jillian Michaels, Taebo, Tony Horton, etc.
